According to the World Population Review's 2024 report of United States Literacy Rates, Florida is ranked number three of states with the lowest literacy rates. More specifically, in Florida only 39% of elementary students test at or above the proficient level for reading. We wonder, are the kids reading books that are fun and engaging? In an effort to combat these statistics, VOICE by S. Jones has created an awesome program for kids to have fun while reading and learning to be a young leader. 

 

There are many obstacles kids face at school, at home and within the community. Some questions to ask when considering our program: Does your child enjoy reading? Does he or she value reading? Do you have time to read to your kids? How do you make it fun? Are you able to discuss the book with your kid after they have read it?  

 

With our featured book, Grayson's Play Date, GOALS offers a timeless program for kids with grade level reading and discussion-based questions for comprehension. Grayson's Play Date provides relatable excitement, comprehension questions and a five-course program in growth and development for elementary kids. This five-week program improves reading skills, emphasizes sight words, boosts confidence and develops some awesome leadership skills... all while having fun. 

 

The curriculum for GOALS: Growth Over A Lifestyle also highlights key aspects of success and good citizenship, such as respect, dignity, responsibility, charity, empathy, sympathy, obedience, anti-bullying, and generational wealth. In addition to encouraging children to take pride in reading, this program aims to instill essential leadership qualities in children at a young age, nurturing future leaders who embody the values of respect, empathy, and responsibility.
